This amazing couple chose to host their destination wedding at Boca Grande on Gasparilla Island. The groom’s family has been spending winters there for generations and it is a very special place for them. Because of his family home and history on the island this couple was able to get married at an adorable 100-year-old stucco church that is strictly off limits to tourists.
After a beautiful ceremony steeped in family tradition they then went all over the island to their favorite places while I came along and photographed them in all their special spots. The island has a vintage beach vibe that is a wedding photographer’s playground.
When it was time for the reception, we headed over to their beach club for a gorgeous seaside celebration. The pool deck was lit by personalized luminaries that gave everything a warm candlelit ambiance that was beautiful for wedding photography. They dance the night away with 100 of their closest friends and family to the sounds of an incredible live band.
